In December 2007 Giorgio Revelli was appointed titular organist of the Locatelli-Bossi grand organ of the Basilica-Sanctuary of Bussana di Sanremo (Italy). He accomplished his musical education at the National Conservatory of the Region of Nice (France), in René Saorgin?s organ class, Mireille Podeur?s harpsichord class at the Ancient Music Department of the same Conservatory, and in Elzbieta Glabowna?s piano class. He has taken part to several master classes in prestigious Organ Academies, among which the Académie de l?Orgue in St. Dié des Vosges and the Semaine de l?Orgue italien. During his studies he has thus benefit from the teaching and experience of renowned professors such as: Michel Chapuis, Louis Tiry, Jean Boyer, and Jean Pierre Leguay for improvisation.Giorgio?s début in concert career was in collaboration with Bernard Legacé at St. Maximin Festival for integrale playing of Bach Kunst der Fuge. He is today invited in prestigious festivals troughout Europe (Italy, France, Germany, Luxembourg, Switzerland?) mainly as a soloist, but also with choir and orchestra. He collaborates with the Italian State Archive of Music Paleography as for advice and work publishing as well. Since March 2004, 25th anniversary, he has been director of Polyphonic Choir ?Cantores Bormani? of Imperia Porto Maurizio (Italy).Besides concert playing, Giorgio Revelli has recorded some important CDs, such as the 2005 recording for International Organ Festival of Camaiore (Italy) with works of O. Messaien, C. Vaira, L. Zangelmi and others, and, in 2008, his solo organ CD fort he promotion and restoration of Italian Ancient Organs in western Liguria ? Organi di Ponente -, and his CD marking his discovery of some church music by Pasquale Anfossi, whose Motets first playing was given 31st August 2008 in Alsfeld (Hessen).
